The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Knox County with heavy rain, peaking around our normal dismissal times. The forecast is for gusts up to 55-60 MPH from the Southeast. This will most likely result in power outages, falling tree limbs and trees and will make driving very difficult for high profile vehicles like buses.
