CAMDEN ROCKPORT SCHOOL ALLIANCE
Parent and community involvement is essential to the success of the students in our schools. The Camden Rockport School Alliance (CRSA) is a group of parents and volunteers who work together to help our school. Formerly known as the PTA, the CRSA provides families with opportunities to get involved directly in the classroom and to help with school-wide events. Our goal is to create a vibrant and energetic support network that ensures our children (and teachers) are getting the MOST out of their school experience.
How Does the CRSA Help Students and Schools?
The Camden Rockport School Alliance is responsible for helping teachers get supplies, enrichment opportunities and the funds they need, as well as helping parents become more involved with the news and needs of their child’s grade. We run several events each year, including book fairs, Staff Appreciation, spirit wear, Square One Art, wellness events and other fundraisers to benefit both CRES and CRMS. We also gather contact information from families and compile an annual school directory.
How Does Membership Work?
Each grade K-8 has a Grade Leader(s). The Grade Leaders serve as liaisons between your child's teacher, other grade level parents, the Administration and the broader community. There is also a small body of seasoned officers in place to monitor the fiscal health and accountability of the organization.
Do I Have to Be a Grade Leader to Participate?
No! All families are encouraged to participate, whether through volunteering for activities, attending events, donating supplies, or simply communicating your thoughts and ideas to the Grade Leaders.
How Do I Join?
Attend a meeting - we are always looking for new members! Our meetings are typically scheduled for the 1st Monday of the month at 5:30pm. We often have an administrator from each school join us at the top of the meeting - this is a great way to hear directly from the Principals or Assistant Principals about what’s going on at the schools. If you’re unable to attend a meeting, reach out to your Grade Leader for inclusion in our communications.
How Can I Participate?
Please follow the communications (email, Facebook) established by the Grade Leaders of your child's grade. This is the best way to connect with your child's grade and classroom to learn where help is needed! The Grade Leaders will send regular updates throughout the year with opportunities for volunteering and donating.
We look forward to a great school year connecting families to the schools, and we need YOU to make it happen!!! Thank you!
The Camden Rockport School Alliance is currently managed by Erin Donovan, Liz Senders and Chrissy Rasmussen.

PREK-4 FAMILY DIRECTORY
The Camden-Rockport School Alliance (PTA) is assembling a PreK-4 directory as a courtesy to make communications between families in our schools easier. Families are not required to participate; those that "opt in" may provide as much or as little information as they like. All families that participate will be provided with a digital copy of the directory upon completion. Our goal is to make it easy to plan play dates, organize childcare and connect with other families in our community. Thank you for your participation!
Please note: The CRSA School Directory is limited to personal use only: individual listing information MAY NOT BE USED for any business or solicitation purposes.
